The opening poem

The original idea for the opening scenes was to have Aragorns poem from the books,

All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost.
From the ashes a fire shall be woken,
A light from the shadows shall spring;
Renewed shall be blade that was broken,
The crownless again shall be king

But I felt that it did not relate to my story as well as I liked, so I wrote my own poem, please let me know what you think?

Even in the darkest of days
There is always a glimmer of light
Look deep into the darkness with courage
As it is often hidden from ones sight

When the days are shadowed by hate
And a cold mist covers the land
Hope warms the hearts of the weary
And steadies a weakened hand
